The Gefen EXT-HDMI-148 is a professional HDMI distribution amplifier with 1 input / 8 outputs. It allows connecting a single HDMI source (Blu-ray player, satellite decoder, PC, game console…) and distributing it simultaneously to 8 independent HDMI/DVI screens or projectors without any loss of video quality.
Thanks to its HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) compliance, this device guarantees playback of protected content (movies, streaming) without degradation or signal blocking. Output 1 is the main (primary) output; outputs 2 to 8 follow the resolution of the main output. All connected screens must share the same native resolution.
Its 1U rack format (19 inches) and included rack ears make it an ideal device for professional AV installations, meeting rooms, exhibition spaces, advanced home theaters, or multi-screen broadcasting.
