The LCM2 works with the following IBM Conversion Option (CO) cables (sold separately):

- VCO (Virtual Media Conversion Option): USB2 + VGA connectors - required for virtual media sessions
CO cable advantage: Each cable has built-in memory that stores a unique identification code for each server, simplifying configuration and enhancing security by preventing unauthorized access through cable tampering.
