❓ Can this LTE router be used as a 4G backup solution for an ADSL or fiber line?
Yes, this is precisely one of the LM4G’s key features. Thanks to its automatic failover, the router instantly switches to the 3G/4G cellular connection as soon as the main WAN line (ADSL, fiber) is interrupted, then automatically switches back as soon as the connection is restored. Ideal for ensuring service continuity for EFTPOS, payment servers, and M2M systems.
❓ How to configure this Kortex 4G payment router?
The LM4G is easily configured via its built-in web interface accessible from any browser, or via Telnet (ports 23 and 2000). It can also be managed remotely via the Kortex PSI LYRA portal or by SMS with predefined keywords. TR-069 management is available as an option for large-scale deployments. However, we do not provide technical support with this used item.
❓ Is the supplied antenna suitable for indoor and outdoor use?
The included external SMA antenna (23 cm, SMA 50 Ohm connector) is suitable for indoor installations. To improve 4G reception in low coverage areas, it is possible to use a high-performance magnetic remote antenna (type CB001337, 5 dBi gain, RG58 cable 3m, Ø47×210mm, frequencies 824~960/1710~2655 MHz) available as a separate option.
