Quantum's LTO-5 HH half-height tape drives use the SAS 6 Gb/s interface to facilitate installation and integration into your data center and help preserve your previous investments by providing full read and write compatibility with LTO-4 media and read compatibility with LTO-3 media.
They also provide a high level of security through support for AES 256-bit hardware data encryption technology, which prevents unauthorized access to data stored on tape while maintaining performance. Additionally, Quantum's LTO-5 HH drives are also compatible with WORM and LTFS technologies, allowing the tape to be formatted for use as a hard drive (ideal for video, imaging, CAD/CAM, and other large file applications).
