The GS728TPS(B) is the stackable version: it includes dedicated 10 Gbps SFP+ ports allowing stacking of up to 6 units in a redundant dual ring, providing a 10 Gbps stacking bandwidth and high network resilience. The standard GS728TP does not have this 10G stacking feature.

The switch has 8 PoE+ ports capable of delivering up to 30 W per port (IEEE 802.3at standard), ideal for powering high-density Wi-Fi access points, PTZ IP cameras, VoIP phones, or IoT devices without separate power supplies.

Management is done via web interface (browser), through the NETGEAR Smart Control Center software (automatic network discovery), or via CLI. The default IP address is 192.168.0.239 if no DHCP server is present. Please note that we do not provide technical support.
