❌ Not SIP compatible by default: This Teams Edition model CANNOT be used directly on a classic SIP PBX without advanced configuration (see advanced users section below).

🔧 Advanced Options (Technical Users)
ℹ️ Technical information: For experienced IP telephony users, this phone offers two alternative configuration options:
- Hybrid mode: Teams + classic SIP account simultaneously
- Firmware conversion: Completely transform the phone into a standard SIP version
⚠️ These procedures require advanced technical skills. We do not provide support for these configurations.
📋 Option 1: Hybrid Mode (Teams + SIP)
This mode allows you to keep Teams while adding a classic SIP account (IPBX, VoIP operator, etc.). You can switch between the two modes.
1️⃣ Retrieve the phone's IP address
On the T58A, open the menu (gear icon or pull down the top bar) and note the displayed IP address.
2️⃣ Access the phone's web interface
In a web browser, enter: https://ADRESSE_IP_DU_TELEPHONE
Default credentials: login admin / password admin (or those of your integrator).
3️⃣ Enable hybrid mode
Go to Device Settings or Settings → look for "Hybrid Mode" or "Access Survivability App" and enable it.
💡 Tip: Also enable "Quick Ball" to quickly switch between Teams and SIP.
4️⃣ Configure the SIP account
In the web interface, go to Account → Register (or Accounts). Enter:
- Server Host: SIP/IPBX server address
- User Name: extension number
- Register Name / Auth ID: authentication ID
- Password: SIP password
- Line Active: Enabled
Save: the line status should change to "Registered".
5️⃣ Using hybrid mode
On the phone, use the button/icon to switch to SIP mode (via the "Quick Ball" or a SIP/Teams menu). You can then make calls like on a classic SIP phone while retaining access to Teams.
🔄 Option 2: Convert to Standard SIP (Firmware Change)
It is possible to completely replace the Teams firmware with the standard SIP firmware to use the phone as a classic SIP-T58A, without any Microsoft Teams license required.
⚠️ Important warnings:
- This operation completely erases the Teams firmware
- Requires downloading the official SIP firmware from the Yealink site
- Technical procedure reserved for experienced administrators
- Risk of bricking the phone if an error occurs
- No technical support is provided for this procedure
📥 Download the SIP firmware
Download the standard SIP firmware for the T58A from the official Yealink website (support.yealink.com), under Downloads → IP Phones → T5 Series → SIP-T58A.
🔧 Flash the firmware via the web interface
Access the phone's web interface (see hybrid mode steps), go to Settings → Upgrade and upload the SIP firmware file (.rom). The phone will automatically restart with the new firmware.

After conversion, the phone works like a standard SIP-T58A: classic Yealink Android interface, manual SIP account configuration, compatible with all IPBX and VoIP providers. No Microsoft Teams license is then required.

Once connected with your Microsoft 365 credentials, the phone automatically syncs your Outlook calendar. Your Teams meetings appear on the home screen with a button to join them with one click. You receive reminders before each meeting and can view details (participants, agenda).
🔌 Is the phone supplied with a power adapter?
No, the power adapter is not included. The Yealink SIP-T58A Teams can be powered via PoE (Power over Ethernet) 802.3af, which is the most convenient solution for businesses. If you don’t have a PoE switch, you will need to purchase a 5V/2A adapter separately.
📱 Can I connect my smartphone to the phone?
